Das buch beinhaltet viele bereiche und ist mit einem dezenten englischwortschatz leicht zu verstehen. Probleme mit der Lieferung gab es nur meinerseits. Das heisst die Lieferung war eigentlich einwandfrei;) Ausserdem gibt es auch sowelche transparente seiten die auch noch mal einen einblick in den menschlichen Körper geben! Sehr hilfreich und toll!

Good book for artist, but You have to Read some other books too, because you need to learn the language, the rigth words about body-parts.
Der Buchtitel "Anatomy for the artist" ist irreführend, da esthetische Fotografien im Vordergrund stehen und nicht die Anatomie des Menschen aus Sicht des Künstlers. Anschauliche künstlerische Umsetzungen des menschlichen Körpers (Akt-Skizzen, -Bilder, etc.) finden sich kaum. Beispielsweise wir der menschliche Körper zwar aufwendig mit Foliendarstellungen visualisiert, doch anstatt die für den Künstler relevanten Muskeln "unter der Haut" darzustellen, beschränken sich diese Schichtenmodelle auf die Knochen. Wer ein Anatomie-Buch für Aktstudien sucht, ist mit diesem Buch eher schlecht bedient. Für diesen Zweck gibt es weit bessere Werke.ABER wer einen BILDBAND über Anatomie sucht, findet in diesem Werk hervorragende Bilder des menschlichen Körpers (auch für den Künstler). Ebenfalls sehr informativ sind die Texte zur Geschichte der Anatomie und natürlich über den menschlichen Körper. Aus dieser Sicht ist es ein exzellentes Werk.
